Individuals must maintain a high standard of care, good client relations and customer service and must have the ability to work independently as well as working in a team-oriented environment.Engineers: dk Consulting is always on the lookout for engineers with experience in residential subdivision and commercial/industrial land development for design of grading, street, and utility improvement plans and final maps. AutoCAD/ Land Desktop knowledge is required. Project Managers: Candidates should have CA professional registration and a minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in the design and project management of land development projects. PM positions involve managing individual projects from start to finish, working with public agencies, coordinating with clients, and supervising staff. Project Engineers: Candidates should have (or have the ability to obtain) CA professional registration and a minimum of 4 years of civil engineering experience. Responsibilities include preparation of grading plans, improvement plans, and final maps, working with project teams, and directing design staff. Design Engineers: Candidates should be capable of design work and have the desire to learn about the civil engineering industry. Resumes from entry level candidates who demonstrate aptitude for design of land development/subdivision projects are welcome and encouraged. Planners: Candidates should demonstrate experience in the design and processing of residential subdivisions, master-planned communities, and commercial/industrial land development projects. Graphic capabilities and project management skills are also desired. dk Consulting also accepts resumes from entry-level candidates with the appropriate background and skill set. AutoCAD / Land Desktop / Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) knowledge is also helpful. Land Surveyors/Survey Technicians: Candidates should have experience in residential subdivision surveying, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, mapping and related work. Autocad / Land Desktop experience required.
